The Aromas area is considered a buyer's market currently as is all of Monterey County. If you do not need to sell today, it would be better to wait unless you will be also purchasing in the same market.
The statistics from our MLS (Re Infolink) indicate just the opposite. In July of 2007, the average and median prices were higher than 2003, 2004, 2005, and 206. The % of sale price to list price was over 102%. The only negative was that the days on market have increased.
