I have lived in New Rochelle since 1967. I have sent two children through the New Rochelle Public School system. They both have graduated and went on to great colleges and have very successful careers. I have friends who more recently sent and still have their children in New Rochelle High School. I can say there is zero tolerance for gang related or bullying activities that outside pundits seem to want to attach unfairly to this fine High School. The High School is a large school. It has a sizable population of children that English may not be their first langauge. The school staff does a great job in helping these students succeed. There is a great atmosphere of a very proud self identity fostered at the school among the staff and the students daily culture. We are all truely proud of the great well rounded education that is provided at New Rochelle High School.

I have lived in New Rochelle for 50 years, and worked here as a real estate broker for 25 years. Myself and my children have attended the schools here. New Rochelle is a great place to live and raise a family. Myself nor anyone I know have been impacted.
