Ahhh, Potomac. The luxury home location for Maryland. The average price for homes in Potomac is about $1,800,000. Potomac offers convenience to major business centers, Dulles Airport, highly ranked public schools and some of the most beautiful homes and communities in the area.

Great question, I guess it largely depend on how you define “typical luxury properties”. The average Potomac home sold for just over a million dollars in the month of December. Thirty six percent of those that sold were between $1 and $2.5 million dollars. One could surmise that this price range of home represents the “typical luxury property” in Potomac. The key word is typical because there are many homes for sale in Potomac for more than $2.5 million dollars.
