Newton is a City with a collection of villages with a population of over 80,000. Many people move to Newton because they believe that it offers a great school system and wonderful neighborhoods. For demographic information on the city visit the public resource http://www.bestplaces.net/city/Newton-Massachusetts.aspx#
Your question (even if we could answer the question) would be imposable to answer. The spacific data for that questions would not be conclusive for villages within Newton. As a result, any answer would be based on someones opinion and that will vary from person to person. The city of Newton has 15 elementary, 4 middle, and 2 large high schools. That is a lot of school!
Possibly conducting your research with regard to Newton by school system would be more helpful? GreatSchool.net is a great resource for school information. http://www.greatschools.net/massachusetts/newton/schools/ The city site is http://www.newton.k12.ma.us/
Also, while we assume the person asking just wants to know because they have a family and want their kids to have other to play with etc., there are too many people wanting to locate children for the wrong reasons. Of course, I suppose they will find out anyway...
Best we (Realtors) stick to the facts about property.
The reason is that the make up of a neighborhood can really change overnight ... and would definitely change over time. When my family moved into our current neighborhood, my son was a baby and only one or two houses even had school aged children. Then over the next couple of years, new families moved in and other families had babies (or adopted) and now the whole neighborhood is full of kids.
So sorry for sounding so obtuse, but I think that is why you keep getting such round about answers.
BTW Newton is broken up into villages, not really separate towns.
