seem to remember seeing this in 2007? Is it in foreclosure proceedings? Seemed like a home with potential, at a lower price.

NJB,
There are some homes with potential that are less and located in the same neighborhood. There are houses on Garden, Twombly and Blackburn that are in the same school district and good proximity to town and the trains. If you need more information on these and other homes let me know.

Yes - property is expensive in Summit. The result of a great location with train service into Manhatten. It should disclose in the listing if it's a short sale - doesn't do so. Let me know if you would like information on other properties in the area or in other local towns.
Kind regards,
Jackie

Hi ZX,

It looks like it needs everything in terms of cosmetics. It has been vacant for quite some time. Also, the taxes are approaching $17,000 for a basically small home. The location is not great either, backing to the school, near the ballfields and near Ashland, which is busy.

Oddly, the listing mentions granite counters and stainless steel appliances in the kitchen, yet the picture still shows the old ugly ceramic tile counters. The LA needs to get on that. Those kitchen pictures could be turning off buyers from coast to coast.

Hi ZX,

This particular listing has been on the market for 236 days and was originally listed at $899,900. But there was a prior expired listing that was on the market for 364 days that started at $1,200,000 and ended at $899,900.

Feel free to contact me if you need any additional information.

Sincerely,
