Hi Adam,

Many times, you will have no choice but to leave when the bank tells you to leave (they'll send someone to evict you).

Given that I don't know the terms of your lease or your specific situation, I really can't comment on what your rights might be...but I would HIGHLY suggest you speak with a real estate attorney as soon as possible so you'll have an understanding of your situation. Please take my word for it...it may very well be worth the money to sit down with an attorney who can help guide you and inform you of your rights.

Contact me through my website at http://www.HernandoLuxuryHomes.com and I'd be happy to put you in touch with my real estate attorney in Spring Hill.

I know this isn't exactly what you're looking for...but I believe it's the best advice any realtor here can give you.

Thanks,

-Josh

You can go to the Florida Landlord and Tenant Laws to read the rights:

I moved into a building 2 wks ago and there are roaches. The landlord took a week to come by and put in a lot of roach motels and blamed ME for bringing them. He told me it was a NO PET building, but there are two cats upstairs and I am highly allergic. Also, the cat owner threw his open used kitty litter in the dirty outside against the building next to my parking place. Can I legally leave since he breached the contract?

Once they are ready to evict you it moves fast in Florida unless you contest it. Here is the Florida landlord-tenant law http://www.flsenate.gov/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_…

Many tenants are in same situation has you. No rights renter, you will be served eviction notice. Bank wants the property immediately. SOME banks offer the person living on property a cash settlement for you vacate the property within a certain number of days, therefore bank does not have go thru legal procedures.
