I am here in Punta Gorda and loving it. Check out my blog about Punta Gorda, hopefully that will shed some light. As my fellow agents have said, you need to visit both areas. I am very partial to Punta Gorda. Do plan to visit and give me a call. I would love to take you around and show you why I chose Punta Gorda.
For any more information, please feel free to give me a call or email me.
It is most important to make an educated decision. A choice that's right for you. So when you see both areas hopefully, you'll find what's right for you.
Good luck & Happy Holidays.
Our website is a great place to start in familiarizing yourself with the Cape Coral market. Good luck in your search.
As you can probably tell from the responses, most of us have strong civic pride and think our little corner of paradise is the best. But your question wasn't, which town is better?, it was, what's the difference?. This is also a subjective question and the answer is totally up to you alone and what you are looking for. The link below can help you determine what matters most to you in selecting a neighborhood. Good luck shopping!
Best regards, Tom
The major differences, as we see them are difference is size and population. Thus, there is much less available in terms of shopping, recreational facilities, and social & cultural offerings in Punta Gorda.
Just like Jay and Jesse stated, take a day or more to look at both. I would be happy to show you Cape Coral, and if you need the name of a Realtor that works in Punta Gorda, I could provide you with that as well.
Have a wonderful day,
If you are interested in boating or fishing activities, Punta Gorda has Charlotte Harbor which is much larger than the Caloosahatchee River between Cape Coral and Fort Myers.
You might want to consider Port Charlotte, which is also on Charlotte Harbor.
Good luck!.......you will love the opportunities available right now!
