Juemin, call me a pessimist, but offering $800K on a house listed at $1.65M may be a bit of a low-ball offer ;-)

If you are seriously thinking about buying, and you are not paying in cash, your very first step should be a loan pre-approval - not a pre-qualification. There is a big difference. If you have not been pre-approved I can do this for you, as I am both a Realtor and Mortgage Banker. Please make sure you are aware of the differences by visiting the link below.

If you do have $800K in cash and you are serious about buying you have some very interesting options. If you would like to investigate those options please contact me.... but, at this time, I would suggest you wait until mid Q109 to buy at the very least.

Wow,

I don't know which is worse, the obviously extremely low ball offer or the line up of real estate agents groveling to write up this low offer. Agents, do you think that the seller would actually entertain such a low offer?

Juemin,

OUCH!!! Don't expect the seller to jump at your obvious "low ball" offer. Not everyone is in a despirate situation that requires them to give thier property away.

Keep fishing............

Juemin,
You need to get real .... houses sell for current market value ..... even in this market. You're wasting your time, and everybody elses time with such a ridiculous low offer. Obviously, you are not a serious buyer. But rather just a kid playing a joke??

This is great. Love these realtors jumping all over an obviously low-ball offer. Have fun fishing!

Juemin;
That is an excellent property and I can meet you today in Pleasanton at the Windermere office anytime to write this offer with your terms as well. I would love to work as you’re representative in this transaction and will try to close this escrow by the end of this year.

Hi Juemin...

Have you consulted a qualified Realtor to guide you through this process?

I would also highly recommend that you seek a pre-approval for your home loan. It will help your offer on the property and put you in a better position against your competition.

I would be happy to offer you my council.

Feel free to call or email me should you need any referrals or you would like to get pre-approved.
