Home Buying in Naples>Question Details

Patella, Other/Just Looking in Seattle, WA

Are the newer homes in Lely resort considered good value for the money?(streets include Mustang and Bronco)?

Asked by Patella, Seattle, WA Thu Oct 23, 2008

Is this considered an upscale area of Naples or is it more like a suburb of Naples

Hi Patella
This is right up my alley! I specialize in Lely Resort and have several listings on Mustang Island Circle and Bronco Court. The prices "adjusted" a couple of years ago and since then have been fairly stable as far as closed sales go.
The homes vary in size from just over 2,100 sq ft to 2,776 sq.ft. (living area). You can choose between lake view, golf course view and landscaped areas. The price depends on the view, location and upgrades - just like anywhere else. Lely Resort is considered an upscale suburb of Naples. You are 10-15 minutes from the beaches of Marco Island or Naples.
I know I am prejudiced, but it is a great place to live. The amenities are awesome, with many opportunities to socialize. If you buy at the right price, it will also be a sound investment as long as you plan on keeping the home for a few years.
Let me know if you want more info.

Right now, one of the few areas still selling both new and resale (a good sign) in the area is Lely Resort. Depending upon the neighborhood chosen, you can either elect to join the Players Club Resort Spa & Fitness Center -- it is amazingly beautiful -- or you are required to join. The initiation fee is $6,000, which is a 1x fee. If you ever paid a fee to join a fitness club, this is one of the most outstanding you will see....

Since Stock took over Lely Resort a few years back, the development has exploded in sales and popularity, not only because of the Players Club, and the golf course choices, but because it is only a short drive to downtown 5th Avenue or 3rd Street in Naples -- or the beach.

Newer homes are always good choices here, too, by the way, since they have more current hurricane standards -- and insurance will be easier to get and less expensive.

Hello Patella,

The newer homes in Lely are an absolute steal for the money. The overall community is amazing for what it offers, as one agent has commented already. Your a private golf club or a public golf club to coose from, along with an amenities center that rivals some 5 star resorts. Give me some specifics and we can fire off listings of homes for sale via email and gather current information from the NEW homes sales center for you.

Lely is a very nice community and offers a variety of opportunities. You have everything from 2/2 condos to estate home, 2 semi private golf corses and 1 upscale country club. I am very familiar with all of the options that Lely has to offer, please call me so we can talk about what you are looking for. I can put together a custom home search so you can see what options you have.
