lori chibante, Both Buyer and Seller in San Leandro, CA

I am attemping to puchase a forclosed home.

My question is I am waiting for the bank to tell me I have the property. day 46 and living in a hotel the children cannot start school. We cannot show proof of residence. And We have signed loan doc's twice. And The bank is out of contract, My poor realtor calls everyday trying to find out anything. Even Escrow officer feels badly for us. What rights do we have how much longer with no answers. Does any one know? Our property the bank that owned it went out of bussiness so another company said the deed was not recorded. Someone please advise.

I have heard these scenarios from other agents as well as buyers. I have no real tip to give only to say hope for the best and prepare for the worst.By this I mean you still can find out that all is not clear with the title or you loan period runs out or another buyer had a stronger offer and so on.So it may be wise to keep looking at other properties and check on short term rentals.Good luck
