Landscaping Foreclosures and Homes for Sale

Asked by Tcs Landscaping, Winter Park, FL Wed Aug 27, 2008

I own a landscaping company and would like to partner with Realtors and property managers to provide lawn care to their foreclosures and empty homes for sale. Is this common practice? Do you have any tips about who to contact and how?

Tcs,

I would recommend first checking with a Realtor that is doing REO's. Also Banks may be a good resource as well.
There is a concern about liability, so I would first make sure that can service a property without liability issues.

If you would like to partner with realtors to provide lawn care you can bring your flyers to the real estate offices in your area. Most offices will allow you to leave your contact information, prices and services offered. That way as the brokers come in to the office they can choose to read your flyer. Good luck with your business. curb appeal is very important and I'm sure you will get a few calls

Sure! Drive around your neighborhood and scout out those properties that look they need some landscaping work. Leave your card or jot down the address and send a flyer. If there is a real estate yard sign- try and contact the agent and offer your services. It is very common for landscapers to work with agents and lenders to maintain yards.
