CAN A PERSON GET OUT OF A PROFESSIONAL OFFICE LEASE IF THEY BECOME DISABLED AND CANNOT WORK?

THE CONTRACT SAYS NOTHING ABOUT THIS. BUT I AM ILL - MENTALLY, AS WELL AS PHYSICALLY AND MUST STOP DOING BUSINESS. THANKS

Audrey.... contact the landlord, or management company of the office building. Explain your situation and see if they will release you from the lease. If they will not release you, see if they will permit a sublease of your office space. If all else fails, contact a real estate attorney in your area to see if he or she can negotiate a release for you.
