There is a strong Jewish community in Miami Beach, Bal Harbour, North Miami and Aventura. If what you are looking for is to be walking distance to restaurants and beautiful beaches you can pick Mia Beach or Bal Harbour. If you want a more family oriented area then Aventura will be the place. West Palm and Boca Raton also has a big Jewish Community.
Good luck in your search!

I am a Religious Jew and live in Aventura Florida which is voted the number one Jewish community in North America!!! We have plenty of synagogues (Ashkenaz, Sephardic, Orthodox, Conservative etc) as well as a large concentration of kosher restaurants, shops, schools and more. Most of our condo buildings enjoy concierge services such as Valet, Security, Gym, Swimming Pools, Media Rooms, Party rooms etc. We are also 5 minutes from the beach and enjoy the Turnberry Golf Course and shopping at Aventura Mall!!! We have a good selection of properties available for you that meet your budget criteria. Please contact us at 786-333-6200 or visit our website at http://www.golanteam.com
We look forward to welcoming you here to our community!!!

I'm actually catching a flight out to Boston tommorow, I hope the weather stays nice! It sounds like you want to stay on the coastal ends of Florida which is a great choice. I grew up in the Palm Beach area and I highly reccomend it to anyone who is thinking of moving to FL.
What I love about it, especially with kids is that it's only 2 hrs and 15 minutes from Disney. The beaches are not over crowded and polluted. The city itself is large but it's not congested like some of the larger cities down South. If you want to be walking distance to nightlife, restaurants and shopping you will want to find a place in downtown West Palm Beach near City Place, Palm Beach Gardens near the new downtown area (Palm Beach Gardens mall), or Abacoa in Jupiter. In your price range you should be able to find a nice upscale condo or townhouse in West Palm Beach and possibly Abacoa. I will be honest with you though, the beaches along the West Coast are much more beautiful than the east coast and they are not as eroded.
Good luck on your quest and I hope you find the perfect place for you and your family!
Aventura you'll love. Voted one of America's Most Walkable Neighborhoods with a Walk Score: 86 out of 100. Aventura has everything to offer from the finest restaurants, synagogues, arts, entertainment, business, shopping and more.
Perhaps one of the most famous attractions is the Aventura Mall, a 2.4 million square foot indoor shopping center located in the center of the city. The city also has its own exclusive park, Founders Park, and an outdoor mall named the Shops at Waterways. Although not inside the city limits, some of south Florida's finest beaches are just a few minutes away from Aventura, across the William H. Lehman Causeway.
The Aventura Express shuttle bus is a city run public bus service, free to Aventura residents. The Miami-Dade Transit, and Broward County transit bus systems also run through the city. The Miami-Dade Metrorail and Metromover does not, however, serve the city.
The main north-south road in the city is Biscayne Bouelevard and the main east-west route is the William H. Lehman Causeway. Although no interstates run through the city, I-95 is just 5 minutes away. Aventura is between south Florida's two main airports, the Miami International Airport and the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, both 15 minutes away.
If you would like to know more about this fine city I'm a resident of please feel free to give me a call (305) 788-6643 or send me an email: firstname.lastname@example.org. I'll be more than happy to assist you.
have you thought about Miami? It is a vibrant city, has a lot to offer and excellent flight connections to Boston (my daughter goes to boarding school in Milton). Regarding a hice home for you and your family, I would like to get a little more information as to what the requirements are and what you absolutely have to have in a home. I am confident I can help you find it.
It is extremely lovely with lots of places with water views. I work on one of the barrier islands --on St. Armands Circle where the world passes my door and I have a chance to chat with them should I step outside my office. And we watch the sunsets from the beach daily.
It is a small place compared to some of the cities on the West Coast of Florida so getting around is easier. Folks are very friendly.
For $350,000 right now you can buy a huge home (3-4 bedrooms, 2-3 bathrooms). If you would like me to begin sending you examples, please send me your email or call me at 941-400-4660.
