When you do go decide to move from admin to agent, do it 100%. Part-time, second job agents don't usually make it.
I believe this is every new agents concern when starting a company that your pay is solely based on commission. I would check into joining a team. Not only will you learn a vast majority of what it takes to be successful but it's a way to be fed leads by an established agent that can't handle all of thier business by themselves. It's a win win for both parties.
That is a great question! There are some real estate agents that hire individuals to be Administrative Assistants, Marketing Coordinators or Transaction Coordinators. My advice would be to put together a strong resume and walk into some of the major real estate office throughout your area (including the two Keller Williams offices).
Your cover letter should state your desires and reasons for wanting to enter the real estate field. Ask the receptionist(s) at each office for guidance in how to place your resume in the hands of agents in need of assistants.
Good Luck with your Professional Pursuits!
