I have been a member of Active Rain for five years. I can tell you that there is a wealth of free information on this site. If anything new comes up, a member will post about it, in detail. You can post your listings here, also. I believe that it is the most active site for real estate agents. If you would like to join us, here is a welcome link:

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. I will offer you details on the search area of AR.

Business card case. In pre-historic times, I carried business cards in my wallet or jacket pocket. By the time I reached for a card to hand someone, it was usually bent or worn - very embarrassing and a shabby professional image. Problem was solved with a simple brass plated business card case that keeps my cards looking fresh and crisp as I hand them to prospects. Also a great place to stick cards as I receive them.

To make sure your listings stand out make sure you take great pictures & virtual tours on showable homes do help. Showcase your listings on, Trulia, Zillow & your company website if you have one. Broker open houses are great, signs, brochure boxes w/ flyers, & my favorite tool the PHONE. I would certainly remember a phone call over an e-mail or text message anyday. Keep it personal & talk to people,
that will get you the best results

I have used all of the sites listed so far. We are trying to hit a growing list for our clients and continue to see positive effects of using sites like facebook, wordpress and blogger.

I really like Zillow, Active Rain, and Trulia - all have been great resources. LinkedIn has been a wonderful tool although it's not exclusive to real estate.

As a user of InfusionSoft, I must agree with Carlos. It's fantastic!!! Automating your marketing really saves time and helps further the sales process without requiring you to be deeply involved until it's decision time.

I've included a link below to register to receive a free report from them entitled "The Edge of Success." It's a good read if you haven't checked it out already.

The best thing to do is have your own person website, with a strong SEM presence.

Add to your list:

And don't forget: especially showcase

And although I hate to admit it, and hate to pay for the privilege to "showcase" my listings, It remains one of the most visited real estate websites around. For the time being, I believe consumer confidence with remains high, and I do get quite a few inquiries as a result.
