We could certainly help you look for a home that meets your criteria. We are familiar with Contractors and Engineers that could modify a home you love to suit your needs. such services could be used to widen existing door ways and even remodel bath sink vanities for wheel chair access and rework laundry rooms to comply with ADA designs.

Epcon communities and alot of the CDI communities have great condos that are wheelchar accessible. I would look on their websites for the nearest communities.

Let me know if you're interested in talking to an agent who can help you find what you're looking for. I'd want to first understand a bit more about your needs, the price range you're looking for, size of home, timeframe for moving, etc. Give me a call anytime, or email me at Laura@talktotucker.com

The city is having the Condo Tours today Aug 9th. Also, I do know there is a condo downtown that is with single level full wheel chair access. Lots of upgrades, granite counters, marble/title baths, high ceilings throughout, oversized windows...Feel free to contact me. There are 2 in Pike Township, 1 Lebanon this might be too far north, 1 on the East side.

We have a great listing that is wheelchair assessible in Indianapolis. It was active, now its not. Our Seller is waiting for the market to improve, but certainly will sell now and let you see it! Its a ranch in a sought after area he completely remodeled the entire house (his brother stays with him on occassion and he is in a wheelchair so he outfitted the entire house). Sharp kitchen (w/granite, stainless steel, etc) New baths...terrific large private yard. Let me know and I can send you more info...

To rent or to buy? I know of some new construction where the builder worked with the owner to make the home accessable. Same goes for renting. It just becomes a cost issue. I don't know of any existing wheelchair accessable homes. If your buying, I would check with builders first to see if that is an option with them.
