The best way to get info on properties on foreclosure is to go to your local building"s department office and ask for the public records. When you buy a property on foreclosure you can get stuck with violations (i.e. leans) on the properties. Remember you are taking the property as is ! That is why you are paying low prices. Banks generally do not give list directly to buyers. Contact a agent in the area you wish to buy in and they can help you further. Get an agent who deals with foreclosures. It's the best way to go.

I believe that banks won't give that information away, for many reasons. You can go to Bay St. and check the records yourself. An easier way is to deal with a Realtor on Staten Island. You can contact me and we can discuss the pros and cons of looking and buying foreclosures. And then I can arrange for you to view some. Our office is at 4106 Hylan Blvd in Great Kills.
