Here's the scenario:Short sale, quality built 4 yr old, 5 bedroom home. 5 kids & 3 dogs - lots of traffic

- home seems 10 yrs old on the inside.
Since it's a short sale and the asking price is 240K (what they owe). How low would be an acceptable offer in today's market. This is in the Cincinnati area. There are no recent comps for this house in the area unfortunately.

How low is up to the Bank or financial instition who holds the lien. The Bank who has to approve the amount and make the final decision. Usually if you get permission to talk with the bank from the sellers they will give you some clue on how much they are willing to take. BUt they are going to tell you to get as MUCH as possible.
