The house isn't even close to the river anyway! Jeez, anyway I was showing in Elgin a few weeks ago and the house is situated on the lot very oddly. The garage is sideways in the back of the house. I believe that is the problem. It's actually a nice looking house.

Answer by Mylovesmylife

Hey rusty im not a broker, but Google mapping it, it looks like its close to the fox river.
I need to understand your question a little more. What do you mean specifically by bad (location, condition, etc.).

I can answer your question more effectively with a better understanding of what information you are looking for.

Thanks,

Lyn makes a good point. How would Realtors in general know anything bad??? I always insist my buyers get a home inspection. Home inspectors are trained and certified to uncover defects. Especially, health and safety issues. I know some very good home inspectors. Call or email me today.

Exterior seems familiar so it could have been on the Historic House Tour. Seems like a good buy. Alot of character & quality in homes in that neighborhood. How would we know anything bad???

Answer by Edward J.
Bad? That home looks great. Read the description in the MLS: Awesome restoration! Interior upgrades include hardwood floors, crown molding, custom wood blinds & open staircase. Gorgeous kitchen has granite, custom cabinets (needs all appliances except dishwasher). All new plumbing & electric. Baths are exquisite with marble floors. Fam rm has pergo floor. The pictures look pretty good too! I would act on this quickly if you are at all interested. The price has been reduced to get a quick sale. And at this price it should sell! Call or email me for more details and to schedule your showing today.
