Where do I look?

I have good credit score and have a (paid for home) in Maryville TN with a real value of $325,000 which will be on the market in November. I am looking for someone to do an owner finace on a nice 2/2 home in MV or Waynesville until the home in TN is sold. I would rather not go through a bank simply because of closing costs and rates. Willing to pay 4-5% on a short term. Where do I go?

Answer by Billy Brede

Hello Joseph,

I have some listings, in Maggie Valley, which is owned by an individual that has express interest to do owner financing. There are about 14 cottages ranging from $139,900 to $229.900. The cottages come furnished and have washer and dryers. The community has a enclosed heated pool, hot tube, club house, and common grounds. They are currently on a rental program that generates good income. If you wanted to leave on a rental program, I can get you the information of the rental history. Attached is a link to view the cottages. http://www.maggievalleyhomes.info/twinbrook-28751.asp

Let me know what you think about the cottages. My email is tpinter@exithometownrealty.com or call me at 828-926-7888

Plus, closing costs are pretty inexpensive in NC and rates can easilly still be fixed for the same rate you want in the short term. Also, the seller can pay the closing costs on top of the sale, thereby eliminating all of the issues that you might have with using a bank. I guess I am just a bit confused why you would so want to limit your options.
