How much will I be looking at here?

Answer by Angela Schrager

It's relatively easy - you just need a good insurance agent who can shop it around for you. Some insurers only cover single story homes, some won't cover homes that have a pool screen and so on and so forth. They'll be able to sort through the myriad of companies, depending on the property you own. I have a 2 story, 4/2.5 in Pembroke Pines and my current hurricane premium which includes my general homeowners policy too is $2,408. If you live in eastern Broward County then you are required to have a separate homeowners, flood and windstorm policy (3 in total), but in Pembroke Pines it is just two.

My separate flood insurance is $445/year.

I hope; this helps and if I can help you with Pembroke Pines homes, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Best wishes,
