The ones I've used seem to be as greedy as they are lazy.

Answer by Jesse Dabson

The hyperbole of your question aside, the best Realtor in Rockford is the one that you connect with, that does what they say they are going to do, are responsive and available to answer you questions and is able to explain to you in detail how they are going to use their professional skills to facilitate the purchase or sale of your home. The plural "ones" you use in your second sentence gives me the impression that you have been involved in multiple real estate transactions which would indicate that you have a pretty good idea how the process works. This knowledge should ,in turn, help you to determine what needs you as a buyer or seller have and then help you determine what questions to ask your potential agent so they can best fulfill your needs.

Answer by Jeanette Meggers

I think you need to comparison shop for a realtor just as much as you do for any other service you use; whether that's Target, Walmart, painter, plasterers or handymen or bankers. How do you pick out the services you do use now? I think a good place to start is asking others for referrals. Ask people YOU know and trust - friends, family or a lender that you work with now. Then come up with some questions... How about what do you expect from me as a client...what can I expect from you as a realtor...how do you communicate etc. And then work with someone who operates according to principles not according to the bottom line. Ask what their priorities are... Blessings on your choice and process!

Answer by rockinblu

Work harder at the selection process. With that kind of post all you're going to get is "I am." and "I am." Check out the blog attached to the link below. Good luck.
