Our price range is around 250K, and we are looking for a single family house. I heard the east side of the town is much better, even though there are new homes in the west side as well. For both resale and rental, within my budget, where shall I search for the houses? Any recommended communities? Any areas I should avoid?

Answer by Ralph Windschuh

Ming, it seems that you are thinking of Brentwood, California, not Long Island. Your post is under New York.

Answer by Gail Gladstone, CIPS, TRC, SRES, RECS

By law, Realtors are not permitted to comment on schools or neighborhoods.
