It is located in Rockingham County, about 17 miles north of Greensboro. City Center is approximately a 20-30 minute commute. Lots are still under $100,000 on the course and custom homes are available from the low $400,000's up. Membership is optional and there are no HOA dues. Small neighborhood pool and clubhouse is more "grill like". Course is family owned and well maintained.

Answer by Larry Story

Kevin,
It really depends on what size home you want and the price range you want to be in. We can start at the top and look at Irving Park (Greensboro Country Club) where you can spend as little as $500,000 up well into the millions, or even Grandover Resort with homes in the same price range. Or there are plenty of smaller courses around that you can find neighborhood homes around. If you like specific listings let me know your size preference and price range and I can send you listings to match. I was in one home last week listed for 2.1 million beautiful new construction, I know the builder (Gary Jobe) he does an excellent job. The home is on a corner lot, 3 car garage, overlooking Number 3 green and number 4 tee box, and a gourmet kitchen to die for (and I use to be a chef).

By the way I like your area also I use to live at Burnt Store Marina and CC between Punta Gorda and Port Charlotte.

Hope this helps,
