We are considering purchasing an inexpensive condo for her to live in, then sell after 3 years, or possible keep as a rental property. What is a good safe area near NOVA with prices below $80k?

Answer by Angela Schrager

Hi Red:

As Cindi correctly told you, we have to be careful regarding "safe" areas, but I can tell you that Nova is in a nice area with lots of townhome and condo communities - some are older ones in golf course complexes. I recommend that you contact a Realtor and work with them. Any of the Realtors who post here on Trulia who are in South Broward, will be able to help you.

I'd be more than happy to help you find somewhere that works for your daughter. There are certainly several 1 and 2 bedroom condos that are in that area and in your price range.

Best of luck to you and especially to her in her studies!
