Are you going to need the money from the sale of your home, or will you be able to qualify with the rental income that you'd be receiving. I work with several excellent local lenders who can help you in determining what you can do without selling your home. I'm an Associate Broker -- if you don't have a local REALTOR representing you I'd be happy to work with you. I can be reached by e-mail at Jeff@JeffSecrest.com.

Answer by Cathy Loving

Samuel,
Firstly, congratulations on your decision to move south, I know you won't regret it. Virginia is a beautiful state with much to offer.
The question is can you qualify for two mortgages or do you have other options to purchase a home in Lynchburg. Your need to consult a bank or mortgage broker to see what you can qualify for. If two mortgages are not an option until you sell your home in Boston maybe you can obtain a lease purchase on a home in Lynchburg.
