We are looking to rent or rent to own a house in Walterboro. Having a difficult time finding any vacancies and I'm sure there are some out there. Any idea where to look other than calling realtors? I've contacted everyone in town.

Answer by Trudy Huber

I would suggest getting in touch with Lynn Smith. She's an agent in Walterboro that will be able to help you. Realtors are here to help you. They have more knowledge about real estate including rentals than other people that don't do this for a living. Also, check into HUD with the mold issue. There may be something the government can do to help you with that.
But do give Lynn Smith a call. She's with Oswald and Associates, I believe.
Good luck and I hope you will find what you need.
