I suggest having a face to face meeting and discuss: 1. what you need in a home, versus what you want in a home 2. Your critieria (budget, timeframe, fixer ok, short sale ok, REO ok? 3. What you expect from your Realtor? email me listings, go look at some homes now, later, in the future, never? Ask your Realtor for a Home buyer's guide. If they don't have one ask them to ask their title representative. That should be a good start.
