There are a lot of new/newer products on the market below replacement cost. Waterfront, with Gulf access is still the best play, for short or long term ownership. Two web-sites to check out are:

Right now our inventory of existing homes are selling for less than the cost to build new. We are seeing lots of aggressive offers being accepted by sellers.

Bonita has many fine communities, the best community in Bonita is a generally a matter of personal preference.

The cost has been coming down, but we are at rock bottom now for builders. I work with a lot of builders and they are struggling to stay in business unless they are national. Give me a call so we can talk about your needs and wants.
