Just wanted to add that there are crime statistics in each city. In some states, because the only one we have a contract with is the seller, we can get in legal trouble if we volunteer this information. But, if you request it, it is our duty to present it. Ask about specific areas you are looking in St. Louis and I can email you the are crime information.

Also, if you are still selling your home I highly recommend watching Designed to sell and get it sold on HGTV. They show how to make your home look like a showroom on a budget and educate on what buyers in "this market" are looking for.

I forgot to ask if someone is helping you sell your current home. If you need assistance I can refer a reputable Realtor in the area that you live. I'm with Century 21 and they have agents or affiliates in most areas within the US and several countries outside of the US. Glad to help out.

Answer by Lisa Mcknight

Good Morning Eva,

I list and sell real estate in Creve Couer also. The prices range from about $90,000 and up. The condos are very nice and the neighborhoods quite. Once you see two or three you may be interested in purchasing, it's best to drive through the neighborhoods between 5pm and 7pm on a weekday or early afternoon 12pm - 2pm on a Saturday or Sunday. There are also beautiful condos in Clayton but they are more expensive. In what price range are you looking and how soon are you planning on moving? I can send you a list of condos in Creve Couer. Sometimes they have Short Sales or foreclosures that are on the market. I would be glad to check for you. I showed several a few months ago that were two bedroom and very spacious with basement, walk through fireplace and spacious living and diniing room.

Answer by Shashi Kumar

I just listed condo in this area. Creve Coeur is a very safe area. It has an excellent police force and a very active community base. The appreciation in Creve Coeur is also higher than other sections of our metro area. For your reference, there are both older condos and brand new condo conversions (this is where a developer has taken an older townhome style apartment complex, gutted it and totally remodeled the units into wonderful condos) in the area. If you branch out slightly from the Creve Coeur area to the West County St Louis area, you will find other excellent condos in very safe areas as well.

if you'd like me to send you some information on condos that might fit your needs, please email me. Realtor.com is only updated every few weeks for the St Louis area, but you can see current listings for our entire MLS system on my website, or I can set up a search for you that will email you only those that would match your criteria.

Answer by Dale Weir

Fabulous! My last listing in Creve Coeur proper sold in a month and I had a buyer close on a home in the unincorporated area surrounding Creve Coeur on Thursday. I work out of the Creve Coeur/Chesterfield Coldwell Banker Gundaker office and our business in that area is hot and heavy. It's a great area with easy access to the highways (and multiple ways to get around the 40/64 shutdown), great school districts (Parkway and Ladue), excellent shopping amenities close by and lots of wonderful housing.
