I notice you are from Sandwich (or at least registered from there). Your local MLS system is Cape and Island MLS 9 http://www.cciaor.com/ . This is separate from the MLSPIN who handles most of Massachusetts. I believe they do syndicate all listings with Trulia; I know MLSPIN does. I would also suggest that you make sure that you’re listing shows in both the Cape and Island MLS and MLSPIN systems. These two systems do not merge their information and being so close to the "mainland" ( ha ha) buyers will be searching both systems to find homes in Sandwich. I do this with all of my Cape listings and it seems to attract more buyers. Good Luck!

It’s a Good Life,

Oh By The Way… I am never too busy for your referrals!

Answer by Catherine Jones

Hi Maureen,
Paul and Dacey's answer is right. When a Realtor submits a new listing, a box needs to be checked to have the listing sent to different websites. Trulia is one of them.
If you are thinking of putting your home on the market, make sure the agency you list with exposes your home to as many people as possible and the most agents too. Ask about advertising and the agents marketing plan.
Best of luck to you.

The only way you can guarantee access to every property on the market is to find a site the has a direct MLS feed like our site:
http://sanfordmullen.com/search-homes-for-sale

This site give you agent-level access to property data as well ... Most real estate websites hide information trying to force contact with their agents. On our site you can search everything at your leisure and if you have a question or want to see something just click the contact button or chat with us live via instant messenger 24/7 or call :)

Good luck!

Answer by The Beatty McGovern Team

Hi Maureen,
When a property is entered into the local Multiple Listing, agents have the option to allow the listing to appear on various websites, including Trulia. It's not automatic, but I'm not aware of a good reason to opt out of it.

Are you looking for a particular property? If you enter the address you're looking for into the link below, you'll see everything on the market and recently sold in your area according to the actual MLS data.

Good luck!

Some agents who have enhacned listings can then brand their listings and promote them on a higher level of marketing. Are you looking for your listing?
