Aug?

We've been considering buying a condo in St. Aug because we are older and worried about keeping up a lawn, etc. Can anyone tell me the average condo fee [go higher in your estimate] and what this fee will cover. We hear that insurance on the building is paid, but we are not clear on whether the fee will cover water and possibly cable. We don't want to live near the beach--can anyone tell me the names of some communities and what their fee will offer?

Answer by Harry Ashley

Hi Ange,

Most condo fees will be $200-$350 per month depending on location and amenities. The insurance is for the building (from the drywall out) . The owner is responsible for the Inside of the drywall (cabinets, bathrooms, etc).

Some condos fees will cover water and cable. Some will not. It depends on the complex.

You can call or e-mail what you are looking for and I will send you some complex names. They are all different in size, amenities, and price range. So please include what your needs are.

I hope this helps.
