Now we are without a house and out $500 earnest money. I cant possibly feel that this practice is right. There has to be something that can be done.

Answer by Cynthia Morris

Howdy

To be a back up offer you would have to agree and there is an additional form you would have had to sign. Were you represented by an agent? If so contact the,m immediately and demand the return of your earnest money. If you were not represented by an agent you can call me and I will help you. 9153295868
