I would like to know what the property boundaries are. I'm also curios to see the house's history. It was built around 1900. I searched on the web and everyone wants to charge me to access public records and produce a lousy report that's even less informative then the listing.

Answer by Jean Doyle

If you are looking for sales history on the property your agent should be able to help you with that. If you are looking for the actual "living" history of the property seek out the local historical society. They can probably point you in the right direction.

Answer by Marc Paolella, Relocation Director/Appraiser

Rich,

Public records do not contain anything interesting about a property's history. If you want them, e-mail me and I'll send them no charge. For an older home, the best chance of finding something interesting is to consult the historical society in the municipality where the home is located. For property boundaries, just consult the survey.

Answer by Wili Baronet

Your agent should be able to get that through the Property Profile
