Banks should offer detailed descriptions of properties on the market to potential buyers . Are there some sites like that.

Answer by Bob Hanley

Banks are in the money business not the home sales business. Some banks do list their repo's on their bank web site, but most are listed with folks who sell house, real estate agents. If you are looking for a REO in Pensacola, go to BuyPensacolaForeclosures.com.

Answer by Dunes

Thank-you Heinz it is very much appreciated and I wish you the best of luck in your search.

Dunes is correct. There are those sites and many others.

When you search each of these sites individually you will find the vast majority of the properties are listed with a Realtor and the detailed information along with pictures is readily available on just one site...the MLS.

I do not know how true this is for other areas but it certainly is for ours.

Best of Luck,

Sites like these ... http://www.countrywide.com/purchase/f_reo.asp

http://www.wamuproperties.com/ ... http://www.pasreo.com/pasreo/public/propertySearch.do

http://reosearch.fanniemae.com/reosearch/ ... http://www.nhmsi.com/

The links to these sites and more can be found here .... http://www.mortgagenewsdaily.com/wiki/REO_Database_List.asp ... http://www.biggerpockets.com/bank-reo.html

Just because the RE Industry forgets to mention them does not mean they do not exist. Check them out they have everything you asked for.

This is a good search engine if you want public records info including Tax sale info.

Most banks will list the properties with a Realtor. There is an abundance of foreclosed properties on our Multiple Listing Service,(MLS).

You can search the MLS from my web site without signing up.(see link below)

Foreclosures are not the only good deals out there. If you would like some assistance I would be more than happy to search the MLS and send that information on to you.

Best Wishes,
