When a home is bank owned (otherwise known as REO), they sometimes will sit on it for a while and when they are ready to sell it, they will list it with a Realtor. You can not buy a home directly from the bank (except in some very rare situations). You will need to use the services of a Realtor to help you with the purchase.... more

I just responded to your post regardin defective drywall. I see you are looking for specfic types of homes in the Port St Lucie area but are currently in Palm Bay. I lived up in Melbourne for 5 years in Satellite Beach. You will definitely enjoy it down here if you don't already know that. It started occuring as early as 2004 but was more prevelant in 2006-2007. Only if they know it has defective drywall will it be disclosed. That is why I would highly recommend having it inspected if the home was built during that time period. Hope this helps! Good luck

Yes, this is a townhome in the Community of Tradition. It has a HOA. However, this unit has evidence of Defective dry wall and is being sold as is and is currently under contract waiting the approval of the forclosure bank. There are other homes in this area, but if you are looking for one without an HOA, just let me know. Auction is the second stage of the foreclosure process. It begins when the trustee or lender files a notice of sale announcing a date and location of the public foreclosure auction. This is a bank owned property. It is hard to tell exactly what is needed. Most Bank Owned properties do not supply a sellers disclosure when selling their properties.
