Public transportation is a nightmare - Bottom line: It's impossible to get around PBG without a car. But I use a car service when necessary, E&R Transportation, that is extremely affordable and very reliable. It's been a while, butt they used to charge just $2/mile for local service, even less for longer distances. And most of the drivers are from the northeast, speak fluent English, and are basically just good guys - they never miss a beat.

To answer your question, I am comparing the traffic in Palm Beach Gardens to the traffic in any major city in the North (Washington, DC or New York) or in California. The answer is: There aren't any traffic problems in Palm Beach Gardens.
You may have a 5 minute wait in the hot sun while a Draw Bridge is raised to allow a Sail Boat to cross, or a 5 minute wait while a Train crosses,
There aren't any Snow Plows, or Iced Roadways, nor are there any places to mention where there is only 1 road to get to the place you need to be!
Before Christmas, there is, however, a time where the Bridges over the Intracoastal Waterway are opened to allow for the Christmas Parade of Lighted Boats where boat owners proudly display their Beautifully Decorated Boats!
And there may be a time of evacuation where traffic is jammed.... more
