My family and I have lived in Delaware for 27 years. I truly don't think the 40 some rape statistics is correct. I have only heard of a couple in all the years we've lived here and, I raised 4 children here, 3 are very pretty girls. Just to be sure though, I would take Anna Brocco's advice. Now, we have had many car break-in's. We've had our car's broke in twice. I just don't keep anything valuable in cars and we keep them unlocked. That way they don't break our window's. Oh and we live in Lantern Chase, west of Grady hospital, behind Kroger's. I hope this helps? Good luck.... more
I think you should invest in a home in Cleveland Heights or Shaker Heights. Only the areas along the Cleveland border have crime, but there are lots of police around this area, much more than in a neighborhood in downtown Cleveland. The Southern part of Cleveland Heights is very nice, and there are many places to eat around Coventry Rd, and Lee Rd. Shaker Heights is very safe, and has a very good police force, as well as Cleveland Heights. The schools are very diverse and are very good. Shaker Heights is more residential, and some parts are much newer, especially towards Beachwood. Overall, both suburbs are a good to live in, and are very close to places to eat, and shop. There are many places nearby like Beachwood Place Mall, and Legacy Village, at Richmond and Cedar Road. There are is also shopping centers at Cedar and Warrensville Center, where there are chain food places, Macy's, Target, Whole Foods, and other shops. There is also a close proximity to downtown, and the Shaker Lakes parks.... more

When it comes to any safety/crime related issues, it's always best to contact the local authorities with all your questions, hear all there is to hear firsthand. If unfamiliar with the area(s) do revisit more than once and at different times of day, possibly chat with locals/neighbors. Real estate professionals are prohibited from steering, enticing a buyer to purchase/rent, or not, in specific neighborhoods.
Good Morning I noticed your question and I wanted to let you know that Realtors aren't allowed to comment on those types of questions. The internet is obviously your best source of information. I have lived in Grove City all my life and built my business here as well. You can reach me at 614-273-7964 if you would like to have a "local" Realtor on your side when searching for your new home. - Chris... more
The good part of Firestone Park runs south of Archwood, west of 77 and edges Waterloo Rd and South Main Street. South of Waterloo Rd is Coventry township which is more rural and nice. West of South Main is Kenmore. Many parts of Kenmore are also nice.......over to about Manchester Rd, then it's hit or miss. Hope that helps.... more
