To answer your question in the shortest manner possible - "Yes, this website is very useful to a great many people". After all, if it weren't you wouldn39;t have found it :-).
As for good old RealtyTrac... They sell their information (which is all gleaned from the public published Notice of Default (NOD) and Notice of Sale lists) to anyone who is willing to purchase it. But be warned, the dollar amounts that the show are NOT what the property will sell for should it be listed for sale. And, many homes that show up on their lists are not listed for sale because the homeowner may be able and willing to pay what they owe.
By the way, any good Real Estate Agent will be able to get you the same information for the areas you are interested in free of charge. (If they themselves are not based in the area you are shopping in they should be able to help you find someone reputable and capable who is.)
The best way to truly get the information you are looking for is to go the Real Estate Agent route. They have got not only the info the other guys offer but also information on what is currently listed for sale in the area you desire and also information on how much things are selling for.
As for Trulia, I believe its value lies not just in the dollars and cents of Real Estate but far more importantly in forums like this where you can ask a real world, specific question and have someone (or a great many someones as the case may be :-) give you real world, specific questions. I would recommend leaving the mobile home on the property and list it as land. In the comments have your agent mention the mobile, It will serve as a bonus to the buyer (if they want it). This way they will understand that you have a well and septic already in place (if you do). If the buyer ask for it to be removed, then you should have no problem with that.
