not all sellers are being unreasonable, some however can be or are. Comps from you Realtor will tell you what the average price is, if the home is not close, then make what you and your Realtor think is a reasonable offer. If they don't bend then the home is not for you, walk away and start looking at other homes.... more
Lexington Green is a very desirable community. It is great for familes who want a community with families and lot of children. It is a destination area, meaning you don't drive through unless you live there. It is a destination for many Executive Relocations who come to Miford. There are other area's with bigger homes in Planned Unit Developments. They are higher priced and offer more in style, space and appointments of the homes. Some of the homes in Lexington Green are near the highway and electrical lines. It is a huge development, so you can avoid those if you find them distasteful. In addition it is an association with a small monthly fee. Around $100. for trash pick up and snow plowing. The rules state you cannot put in a pool, though most don't have the space since they are very close together on small lots. Other area developments don't have that rule. Those who I have worked with either buying or selling have enjoyed living there and said the neithbors were great. After hours of lugging boxes on her move in day she mentioned to her husband she would love a cup of coffee, her neighbor heard her and brought a fresh pot of coffee with some food in about 15 minutes...Its not a guarentee you would have that kind of neighbor, but you never know!
