Trulia and most of the other online sites use public records. Most every home can be looked up. Read it carefully, and notice it probably is not listed as "for sale." It will give an estimate of it's value, again based on public record. You may not be able to remove it. Try contacting Trulia's customer service.... more
Hi Jason. Wondering if you SOLD your home. You might check with customer service, I do not think they let you list your Home on Trulia unless you are an agent.

Geneolgically, I'm Irish as well but seeing how I am a REALTOR in America, I guess I should answer questions from another country. I didn't realize it before I answered...sorry. The laws in real estate are much different here, so don't take my advice at face value. Good luck.... more
I can't imagine a good reason for putting one of my signs in a yard without signing a contract first. If you signed documents with a real estate agent that put a sign in the yard then you may owe the money. Also many contract state that for a certain duration of time after the contract is terminated they may be owed a commission. If you can honestly say that you signed nothing with an agent that put a sign in the yard and that the sign was not the reason your friend knew you were trying to sell your home then you might not owe anything.
