The lease is different than sale. However, 2.5 yrs renting...there is 'natural wear and tear.' Where is the original walk thru? There should be a final walk thru too. Any photos? The landlord needs to produce photos and invoices of repair items on final walk thru ...and items were truly fixed and paid for...before deducting from security deposit...not pocketing money. All must be done within 45a days of move out to be fixed...etc. File a claim if items were not really repaired with invoices and proof of repair.... more
