I'm a landlord and a realtor...It's all about what is written in the "lease". If you're on a month to month lease then it could be less than 30 days notice...if the new owners want you to move out. Maybe you can work something out with the new owners for a long term lease with them (6 months to a year or more). This would be a good time to ask your current lanlord if that's a possibility.... more
Lynn....as a real estate pro and a mortgage loan officer you should know that the renter will get no where by contacting the owner's lender directly unless he gets an authorization to convey information from the seller, which I seriously doubt. (If you assistant answered this one, I apologize....but they should know how to correctly respond!)... more
I haven't had a buyer turned down for a loan yet this year. Don't let the media scare you out of a great buying opportunity. Work with a reputable loan officer and if you donâ€™t qualify they'll let you know what you need to do so you will in the future.
