Trulia doesn't have a "criteria", as it is not a real estate company, nor is it a landlord!
Each landlord will set their own criteria.
Some may be more flexible - especially if there is a letter detailing why the credit scores may be low. It will also matter if you can show a solid history of paying rent on time in the past....and if you have a solid job that shows you can easily afford the rent.
I suggest you speak with a local Realtor, and have them guide you so that your offer to rent a home can be presented it the best way possible.
