It is not safe to live anywhere. You always need to be careful and pay attention to your surroundings. Especially in urban areas. The more people concentrated in a small space, the higher the likelihood of encountering a bad apple. Weehawken is similar to other urban areas in that respect. Crime statistics are available online. I would not be surprised if incidence rates in Weehawken were similar to that of the Upper East Side of Manhattan. Good luck!

I cannot speak about the safety of Weehawken, NJ, but I can tell you that there is a NJ transit stop in Weehawken that you could take to Hoboken. Once in Hoboken, you can take the Path train into Manhattan for $2.25/ride. The Path train stops at 33rd, 23rd, 14th, 9th, and Christopher Street as well as the World Trade Center stop. The Path train is very fast and convenient for commuting from Hoboken. I hope this information helps.
Best of Luck,

I can't speak to the actual units as I've not seen them and they don't seem to be on the MLS. That location, however, is not the best. There is constant traffic from the Lincoln Tunnel. That street is basically an extension of the exit ramp and one of the primary entrances to Hoboken and to reach the Holland Tunnel when traffic at the Lincoln is backed up. Also, keep in mind that having a 'gentleman's club' as your next door neighbor may seriously hinder the marketability of your property when you go to sell.
