i am trying to get a family transaction not to show up on trulia, it was not an arms length sale.

the sale of 355 S Moreno Circle should not be used by realtors in Litchfield Park, AZ, this was a family transaction, not at arms length, no realtors were used and no homes sales should be compared to the price paid, it was shown at the assessors office as a family transaction and should never have been shown by trulia as a comparable home sale.

Hi Beth:

The problem is that it went on the tax record, which apparently is public in your area. The property actually shows up not only on Trulia but on other sites that list public tax record - out of curiosity, I went and checked another well-known site, and it's there listed as recently sold.

Unfortunately, the system is not perfect and it does not and can not show everything people want (and in your case, prevent things from showing up for everybody who so desires)

Tax Records will show the sale regardless of the "type" of transaction it was... Unfortunately...

You can ask your title/escrow company not to show the value of the sale. Customs vary by state and locality, so you should ask. Public records are public records.
