As a Real Estate agent, I search, and tour pre-foreclosed homes every day. You can look at,, or better yet, call a good Agent.

In today's market, looking at foreclosed, short sale, and pre-foreclosed properties can be a great way to save some money.
I would be glad to perform a more specific search for you (no obligation) if you would like.

Contact me on my website, and let me know where/what you are looking for.

Hi Bb,

The link below will show you foreclosure listings in the 30024 zip code and once you click on the listing area or photo to view additional information, you'll see a Status field that will tell you if the listing is a Pre-foreclosure, Auction, or Bank owned (REO) listing.

Best Wishes,

Great question.. as an agent I research NOD (Notice of Defualts) daily. For a buyer I would suggest that you target and area and price point you want to buy in then sit down with a Realtor go over you wants and needs list and send them looking for short sales that best fit your needs.
Tips to Finding properties in pre-foreclosure
Here are three ways to find properties in pre-foreclosure:

1. Try contacting your local county court. Ask if Notices of Default (NODs) have to be recorded as court documents. If the answer is "yes," find out how you can search the new filings; if the answer is "no," try one of the other options below.
2. Find out about the property and the ownership etc you can Use is Simply click on "State index search," select the real estate search You'll be able to see what (if any) info is available over the Internet through the various real estate you interested in.
3. Look in the "legal notice" section of the newspaper. Look for properties that are coming up for sale at public auction (sheriff's sale, trustee sale, whatever), jot down the addresses, the property owners' names, and the tax ID, or at least as much info as you can get from the ad.
4. Advertise … that what all those we buy house for cash signs are about
5. Call me … ok shameless plug but heck its what I do all day.. why not have me work for you
