Why does Trulia show no 3 BR condo sales in Chicago (60622)? Is this reality or is this a technical glitch??
I'm not seeing any sold homes listed in this category even though there are for sale listings, but maybe this has something to do with the data available to Trulia? Please advise as we are considering selling and I'd love more info on the market conditions if possible.

Hey Elisabeth- I live in 60622 there are definitely 3 bedrooms for sale! I absolutely love living in this neighbhorhood, there are so many great restaurants and shopping and it is very close to public transporation. Of course you can go out on various websites and see the listings on the MLS. But if you have a car or bike, I definitely recommend riding the neighborhood too, as there is a lot of new construction that isn't on the market yet and a handful of owners of that have posted For Sale By Owner in their yard. Let me know if I can ever provide any insight or information from the viewpoint of someone who lives here.

Cook County's Assessor Office does not include bedroom information in the public record data for the jurisdiction, so we're not able to report the number of sales by bedroom count. This is a data availability issue, not a technical glitch. Trulia displays recent condo sales in 60622, but the county doesn't provide the necessary information to filter this list by bedroom count (e.g. show only 3 BR condo sales). http://www.trulia.com/IL/Chicago/#sold/60622_zip/CONDO_type/… Regards, Chris Thu Oct 11 2007, 00:39

In the zip code 60622:
- there are 241 3br condos available for sale - 53 3br condos were sold (in the past 3 monts) - 45 3br units are currently under contract - many listings were cancelled or simply expired off the multiple listing service As one can tell - we have a huge inventory. So if you are seriously considering selling your condo, find a real estate professional who will price your property right, market it aggressively and make sure it receives maximum exposure. Can't answer why Trulia doesn't show any 'closed' condos in 60622, but on the MLS, there are 167 closed 3 bedroom condos in the 60622 zip area in the past 6 months! So, yep, there is activity.

It's could be both a technical issue or the data available on Trulia isn't complete. As always, a Realtor will be able to provide you with all the data you need through a CMA of your local market based on your property type etc. Good luck, Ken.
