Hi Scott,

We've actually got some great new functionality that will allow you to compare up to 5 listings side by side.

For example, access the following link and scroll down on the page to the Comparable Properties section.…

You'll see a checkbox next to each similar property and once you select the listings you're interested in, click on the button to 'Compare Selected'. You'll come to a page that looks like this:…

I hope you like this new feature. Be sure to let us know if you have any feedback or if you have any other questions.

You don't. Using a real estate agent is THE best way to compare properties. Information on Trulia can be wrong or outdated. For instance, any foreclosures you see on the site are teasers which come from other sites so that they get you to pay them for their service even though the information is very outdated.

Using a real estate agent can get you ALL of the currently listed properties in the MLS, recently sold, and withdrawn. There are other site which you may visit to get info on properties such as the HUD or VA sites, for sale by owner sites, ect. which are on the market.

Hope that helps,

Hi Scott,

We've just released an update to this feature that allows you to select properties to compare direct from our search results page. Access the link below to check it out - you'll see a Compare checkbox under each property photo.
