There is always going to be room for improvement when it comes to delivering information and marketing. Many times, certain information is intentionally omitted- one reason is to ensure accuracy and to avoid the dissemination of misleading or inaccurate information.

In response to your mention of Taxes and Association Fees- Taxes MAY vary from a current owner to a new owner- and it usually does change the year following the sale.

HOA and Association Fees are typically a stable amount and should be included in the marketing material. The best, most reliable way to determine taxes is to refer to the County Appraisers Office.

Always verify the current HOA or Condo Association Fees and possible assessments or increases with The Association.

It can be challenging to look at property listings on Trulia as it does not get a direct feed from an MLS, but rather gets its listings from a variety of sources across the Internet. Often, listing information on Trulia can be out-of-date and confusing to use.

A local Realtor website with an IDX feed from the MLS board will be a much more useful resource to look for property in Southwest Florida. Here is a site that provides HOA and tax infomation that can help expedite your search for a Fort Myers area home:

Good luck with your search!

Like other have said, HOA and condo fees are now on our MLS. To get up to date tax info, along with what the estimated taxes will be, you can check out for the official word.

Hi Fs,
You are right. That is important and just this month our MLS was updated to show the client that information. Being from the midwest I know it is hard to do your home shopping from far away. Let me help you find what you are looking for.

Thank you,
